This is an aviation spectacular like no other. Filled with extraordinary large-scale flying sequences and heart-stopping assaults, director Guy Hamilton (Goldfinger) pulled off a miracle bringing this film to life, a mammoth undertaking in scale and combat. Based on the real-life events from July to October 1940 and the book The Narrow Margin by Derek Wood and Derek Dempster, Academy Award-winning cinematographer Freddie Young (Lawrence of Arabia) tackled the daring undertaking of capturing these daring recreations.
