A story of Adoption, Hope and the Mountains we’re all Climbing
Anna and Mark are a young Wollongong couple whose lives change the night they watch a documentary showing orphaned babies tied to cribs, never held. Moved to act, they enter Australia’s adoption system—only to discover a maze of delays, contradictions, and the baffling claim that “there aren’t enough orphans.” With two children of their own, Jackson and Jemima, they decide there must be another way. Their search for purpose—and for children who truly need a home—takes them to Tanzania. Settling in the town of Moshi, beneath Mount Kilimanjaro, they work at a boarding school and begin learning the rhythms, humour and hardship of Tanzanian life. There, they discover Forever Angels Baby Home, a sanctuary for babies in crisis. Their search for purpose—and for children who truly need a home—takes them to Tanzania.
