Captain Hannah Wagner (Julia Franz Richter) leads a team aboard the Rubikon, the last fully operational space station in orbit. She finds herself at odds with fellow crew member Gavin (George Blagden), who is conflicted with his own world view and Dimitri (Mark Ivanir), a grief-stricken father dealing with the loss of his son. Suddenly, a toxic fog pushes Earth to the point of extinction and each of these astronauts to breaking point. Should they survive, just to watch the world die, or try save a world which may not do the same for them? .
